cravnravn Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 We should not be allowed to kick field goals inside the redzone. Our inability to score touchdowns is extremely frustrating to watch.Absolutely, what's frustrating is that with 6:00 to go in the game we are nursing a 10 point lead, 17 points are scored after that with us only getting a 3. That's what is frustrating to me. Now its onward to Miami where they now hold the final playoff spot, will we be up to the task? Quote
Tornado700 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 `This Miami game will be one of those games where Raven fans will be watching it with crossed arms, just waiting to see if we 'still got it" or not. Personally, I think we do. We will beat Miami. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 I think they lose to Mia. Mind you I was really wrong the last 2 weeks. Quote
varaven45 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Agreed. Notwithstanding last night's performance, I think Miami is playing better and they are at home, Plus, I think we be will playing with a "hangover" from the SD game. Just a hunch. I only see 1, possibly 2 wins, left this season. Quote
oldno82 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Best, Worst PFF Grades Below are the best and worst grades handed out to Ravens players from PFF for their performances against San Diego: Best Grades QB Joe Flacco: positive-6.6 RG Marshal Yanda: positive-3.7 LB Daryl Smith: positive-2.8 SS Jeromy Miles: positive-2.3 WR Torrey Smith: positive 1.9 Worst Grades WR Steve Smith: negative-4.3 OLB Courtney Upshaw: negative-4.2 OLB Pernell McPhee: negative-3.9 LT Eugene Monroe: negative-3.9 OLB Elvis Dumervil: negative-2.2 Flacco earned his highest PFF grade of the season Sunday, with Kiernan Hogan calling the Ravens’ signal caller “excellent.” Quote
OneManCypher Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 sometimes you're going to play in and win shootouts, we have a makeshift secondary, filled with undrafted free agents , safeties playing corner, a first rounder thats a complete bust , our best corner has two bad knees and all of them put together probably don't make half of what Flacco makes. my point: just because we scored 33 points doesn't mean the offense did it's job, everyone knows our secondary stinks so we'll need to get pressure on the QB , if that doesn't happen, we'll probably be in more shootouts, and the onus is on Joe if we're going to win shootouts. You don't get the payday that Joe got, and then blame a bunch of scabs who aren't making any money for the loss. Joe is the big money guy, Joe is the QB and just because we scored 33 points doesn't get Joe off the hook. I told you all when Joe signed that contract, anytime we lose it's going to be Joe's fault, if Joe doesn't want the blame then he'll have to give about half the money back. Quote
Spen Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 What are you talking about. You're new here, just joined a month ago. How could have told us all? 1 Quote

At last someone with some common sense.. In the age of football offense, there are times when your offense has to win games for you. This was a game where we needed 35 points ( and yes we had opportunities ) but failed to pull it off. It was an offensive failure. Since many here give so much credit for Ravens wins, it only serves to reason that he should get blame for Ravens losses. Quote

Made a coherent statement, yes, yes I did Shasta Cola. Joe put us in a position to win the entire game...Maybe we should have run the ball one more time and get a first. Who knows. I read Preston's article from the other day. I think he said they had 24 yds on 14 carries in th eredzone. That is bad. The OL did not do their job there. Quote
