The Ravens have a good young group, a restructure here or there keeps then in decent cap shape. But as we have talked about before here, the league had to do something about these $40 mil per year salaries. They were 5-11 in 2015 (their worst in the last 10 years) and 8-8 in 2016. Ravens might get 2 1st and Sam Howell, who, in my opinion, would be great in Todd's system here, plus cheap, still on his rookie deal. Big, strong, accurate, great pocket presence, and yes, he can run. This would be a win-win for both teams. Take one of the firsts, get the wide out you need. They, he and the team, agreed to a void year added and gave him more bonus money, lowering his cap hit this year, saving them some 20 or so mil in cap space, now they are 34 mil under. More than likely Lamar will leave for less than 2 firsts. Someone will come to Eric and say lets deal.
